An AI agent instead of a hire

You posted a job for an assistant or an operator. Before you hire, look at how much of that work an AI agent can take: messenger replies, bookings, reminders, spreadsheets and summaries. Decisions and exceptions stay with a person, you or someone already on the team.

Each page in this section takes one typical job post: the usual duties, which of them the agent takes and which stay with a person, how it works and a short sample script. At the end of every page there is a knowledge base template you can download and fill in for your company.

These are my own demos for this portfolio. The scenarios are built from typical job posts, not from work with specific companies, and the dialogues are written as samples rather than taken from real conversations.

Why not “instead of a person”. An agent is good at what repeats: answering the same questions, booking, reminding, moving data from one place to another and putting together a summary. Decisions, complaints, money and anything missing from the knowledge base go to a person with the whole conversation. Often that person is the owner or someone already on the team, and a separate hire for the routine is not needed.

How I work. You send the job post. I mark which duties the agent takes and which it does not, and propose a setup for your channels and sheets. Communication in writing.

When this is the wrong fit. When nearly every case needs a decision rather than an answer, or when the work rests on personal relationships. Then an agent helps only at intake: finding out what is needed and handing it to a person with a ready summary.
